TORONTO, ONT. — This afternoon the Ontario Provincial Government announced the introduction of new public health measures that will take effect within the City of Toronto for a minimum of 28 days as of 12:01 a.m. on October 10th.

As part of these public measures, gameplay and scrimmages will not be permitted at indoor sports recreation facilities within the City of Toronto.

As such, the Fall ’20 ASHL Season & Canlan Youth Scrimmages at our EtobicokeScarborough, and York locations are currently on hold, with any games as of October 10th and beyond being postponed for a minimum of the next 28 days.

PLEASE NOTE:

Ice Rentals and Youth and Adult Programming will still be permitted.

NO SPECTATORS will be permitted at Canlan.

These measures apply to Etobicoke, Scarborough, and York.

When will we be able to play games again this season?
At this point, the public health measures are set to remain in effect for a minimum of 28 days. At some point during that 28-day period, the Chief Medical Officer will advise the Government if these measures can be removed, or extended, at which point we’ll have clarity about when, and if the ASHL Fall ’20 season or Youth Scrimmages are able to resume.
