Canlan Ice Sports' Head of Athlete Development, Dennis Treacy will use his years of teaching experience to improve your skills on the ice. Private Lessons can be personalized based on need but always focus on teaching proper technique. Coach Dennis will take the time to work with you on your skating and puck-handling skills as well as develop stride, balance, agility, speed and power.

Private lessons are best for players who want to put in the extra time to improve their skating and hockey technique, or for beginners who are looking for personalized instruction without the distraction of a group class.

Coach Dennis has worked with Canlan for three years and demonstrates a great passion for teaching players of all ages, while creating strong bonds with all program participants and their parents. Dennis studied at Algonquin College and majored in Travel and Tourism. Dennis played in the CIS for both Carleton University’s hockey and lacrosse teams.
