In Freestyle skating, or Singles Freestyle skating, a skater can choose to pursue a recreational or competitive approach to figure skating. Participants perform a skating program (usually skated to music) composed of elements such as jumps and spins. This program is designed for the advanced skater who is looking to practice jumps, spins, and take lessons with an instructor. Freestyle ice time is available.

The Basic Skills (Level 1-8) program offers quality instruction at many comprehensive skill levels using the United States Figure Skating guidelines and standards. Professional instructors will conduct classes in a positive atmosphere, making learning to skate a fun experience for recreational, hockey and figure skaters of all ages. Our classes are professionally taught by USFS qualified coaches. The focus of the levels will be on forward skating, backward skating, stops, edges, crossovers and turns. If you're looking for a great start for your child into figure skating or hockey, start with the basics. All students new to the sport of skating should sign up for Basic 1. Skaters will be evaluated the first day of class for class level placement.

A specialized program for Figure Skaters to practice technique! This class will deal with improving the skater's balance, control, and fine motor skills by professional USFS certified instructors. Skaters that attend this class will be far ahead in knowledge of turns and positions which will improve their moves in the field and Freestyle skating.
