USFS - Learn to Skate - Basic Skills 1-8
The Basic Skills (Level 1-8) program offers quality instruction at many comprehensive skill levels using the United States Figure Skating guidelines and standards. Professional instructors will conduct classes in a positive atmosphere, making learning to skate a fun experience for recreational, hockey and figure skaters of all ages. Our classes are professionally taught by USFS qualified coaches. The focus of the levels will be on forward skating, backward skating, stops, edges, crossovers and turns. If you're looking for a great start for your child into figure skating or hockey, start with the basics. All students new to the sport of skating should sign up for Basic 1. Skaters will be evaluated the first day of class for class level placement.
ALL SKATING CLASS PARTICIPANTS MUST BE REGISTERED WITH USFS ANNUALLY. YOUR REGISTRATION EXPIRES JUNE 30TH EACH YEAR. AN ADDITIONAL $14 USFS ANNUAL FEE WILL APPLY TO ALL PARTICIPANTS BEGINNING WITH THEIR FIRST REGISTRATION AFTER JULY 1ST. TO PAY THIS FEE ONLINE CLICK TO REGISTER BELOW.
