Adult Beginner/Novice Instructional & Recreational Hockey League (AIL)
The Canlan Ice Sports Adult Instructional & Recreational Hockey League (AIL) is specifically for novice skaters. Teams are capped at 15 players and unlike a regular adult league, players are evaluated by coaches and placed on balanced teams to ensure competitive play. Coaches also run the bench during games, provide real-time instruction and balanced ice time. Players are encouraged to try all positions.
We split the league ice time between games and the instructional clinic. There is 1 evaluation clinic, 6 instructional clinics and 8 games. Walk on skaters may attend the clinics for $20, but games are strictly for pre-paid league members. We accept pro-rations to join the league based on available space.
If you are a goalie please contact Stacy Ambler below before registering at the front desk, over the phone, or online.
