Sled hockey also known as sledge hockey is designed to accommodate players of varying physical abilities. Sled hockey is a Paralympics sport played all across the world. It incorporates the same strategies and regulations as regular ice hockey. There a six players on the ice per team including a goalie. Players sit on a specially designed sled with skate blades under the seat and two sticks are used. The sticks are used to pass, shoot and to allow players to maneuver their sleds on the ice. All equipment is provided to participate in this exciting league!
