This brand new, state-of-the art multi-purpose facility opens to the Fort Wayne and surrounding community in early 2010. Fort Wayne has long been in need of more ice to satisfy the growing demand for ice sports within the market, and Canlan Ice Sports has come to the rescue with this breathtaking new arena. Ice Sports Fort Wayne is the biggest and best new ice arena of it’s kind, and is a destination for the local community and for nearby cities such as Indianapolis, Chicago, Cleveland, and Detroit.

Ice Sports Fort Wayne features 3 NHL sized ice surfaces and offers amenities you won’t find at just any other ice rink. A full service restaurant & bar, the Thirsty Penguin, offers everything from special event catering, a snack on the go, or dinner for the whole family. Overlooking all of the ice surfaces you won’t miss any of the action on ice while enjoying a drink or catching the big game on TV. Each ice surface has it’s own 4 locker rooms, complete with shower and bathroom. We also offer party rooms and banquet facilities to celebrate your special event or birthday party in style.

Our promise to our consumers is that we have a program for everyone at our facility. Just starting off and trying to “get your feet wet?” A Learn to Skate or Hockey Fundamentals Class is perfect for you! Ready for some game action? We offer both Youth and Adult Hockey Leagues for people of all ages and skill levels. Are you looking to take the next step as a figure skater? Advanced Figure Skating offers individualized instruction and choreography. Public Skating, Sled Hockey, Stick & Puck, and Day Camps are also offered just to name a few of the other numerous options available. Also look for non-ice activities during the spring/summer months such as roller hockey, soccer, and lacrosse.
