Hockey Fundamentals
 
The Hockey Fundamentals program is designed for players who are new to the game of hockey as well as first year house league players. This program improves overall skills teaching proper technique in power skating, puck control, passing and receiving. The skills introduced allow players to improve their game or provide them with the confidence to join a league. All drills are designed to challenge players in a positive environment.

Powerskating And Hockey Skills
 
Powerskating and Hockey Skills gives house league players extra practice time while assisting in individual skill development. Since hockey is 95% skating, the Powerskating & Hockey Skills program focuses on proper technique and the “how” to practice perfectly in all areas of the forward and backwards stride, edges, stopping and balance. This program also teaches players proper technique in puck control, passing, receiving, and shooting. Players are challenged in a positive environment allowing them to improve their game play.

Shoot to Score
 
Every young hockey player is eager to improve their shooting skills and learn how to increase their scoring consistency around the net. The Shoot to Score program exclusively focuses on the skills that teach players how to take their scoring ability to the next level. Players also learn to perfect wrist shots, snap shots, backhand shots, give & goes and one-timers.

Hockey Tips for Tots
 
Designed for aspiring young hockey players this program focuses on the fundamental skills of skating and explain the game of hockey in simplest terms. Age and skill appropriate drills focus on power skating, puck handling, passing and receiving. Participants should be able to skate forward, fall down, and get up without assistance. Full hockey equipment is required.

Shooting Clinic
 
Players will learn a number of advanced elements that will allow them to properly finish a game situation with a flawless goal. Players will learn to perfect wrist shots, slap shots, backhand shots, give & goes as well as onetimers. All participants must be prepared to work hard, listen and be patient as they perfect their ability to shoot and score.

Adult Powerskating & Hockey Skills Level 1 is intended for beginner players or players who haven't played for a while. Since hockey is 95% skating, this program will focus on proper technique in all areas of skating and will also cover the art of puck control, passing, receiving and shooting. This program provides a positive learning environment that encourages fun, teamwork, sportsmanship and dedication.

Ladies Beginner Hockey Skills is intended for beginner players. Ladies should choose this program if they’re looking to learn the skills for skating and hockey before joining a team. For those already playing the game, this program serves as a practice session for players still learning the ropes.

Adult Powerskating & Hockey Skills Level 2 is designed for those players who wish to improve their existing individual skills in a fast paced environment. The program uses high intensity skating drills, passing, shooting and puck control drills to develop an all-around hockey player. Further developing the techniques and skills learned in APHS Level 1, this program prepares players for game play.

Adult Powerskating and Hockey Skills Level 3 is intended for experienced players who are looking for an organized practice to complement game play. This program is recommended for those participating in the ASHL and wishing to advance their caliber of play in order to move divisions. Powerskating and Hockey Skills Level 3 is the final progression through three levels of Powerskating and Hockey Skills.
