MEET OUR INSTRUCTOR TEAM!
Clayton Lode - Head Of Hockey Development
Just to give a little bit of info about me, here is some of my background. I started playing hockey in Dawson Creek B.C. at the age of 7. Being from Northern B.C. also gave me the opportunity to be on the Pond almost every day through the winter months. Moving to Abbotsford at age 10 was my first experience playing Rep Hockey, which I continued be a part of the Rep Program during my time playing for Abbotsford. After high school I played three years of club hockey for Trinity Western University. Looking back at all the coaches I had, I felt that it was something I wanted to do and I felt an excitement to coach and help people learn about the game we love and began the process while in university. As an Advanced 1 Coach, I have had experience coaching Minor Hockey, Sr.Women's AAA and University Club Hockey for Trinity Western University. I am looking forward to the exciting developments in the Hockey Department here at Burnaby 8 Rinks and I am open to any comments or questions that you have about our Youth and Adult programs.
