In addition to ice programs, Canlan Ice Sports Sherwood is home to the Thirsty Penguin Sports Lounge (Click Here to view our restaurant menu in PDF format) that overlooks both our rinks and provides a comfortable environment to watch on-ice activities or to relax after a game. The Thirsty Penguin also operates a concession where you can pick up your food and drink quickly and head back into the stands to watch the action. |

Canlan Ice Sports-Sherwood is considered the hockey emporium of Southern Saskatchewan with it being home to the University of Regina Cougars Men’s and Women’s Hockey Program, whom compete in Canada West of the CIS.
Some of the largest tournaments in Western Canada are hosted at the Sherwood, featuring the Coca-Cola Classic Pee-Wee AA Tournament, the Challenge Cup Bantam AA Tournament, the PowerAde Atom AA Classic Tournament as well as the Connexus AAA Summer Super Series.
