Canlan Ice Sports- Burnaby 8 Rinks is also the official home of the B.C. Centre of Excellence. Under the direction of Joanne McLeod, the Skate Canada B.C. Centre of Excellence is the home of World and Olympic competitors and National and International Champions including the 3-time Canadian Men’s Champion and 3-time Grand Prix Final Men’s Champion – Emmanuel Sandhu. Preparations are already underway for the 2010 Olympics!

Since 1995, Burnaby 8 Rinks has been the official training facility for the Vancouver Canucks and has hosted several of their official training camps.
